We’re on a mission to showcase the best content creators in the region. The social media stars and InstaGirls make it look oh so easy, but we know it isn’t.
Next up is the lady who makes us want to be a healthier version of ourselves every single day with her feed and she makes it look so easy too – meet Daniela Pires, personal trainer, health coach, make-up artist and one of our favourite inspiring content creators!
Tell us a little bit about you (2-3 lines)
I’m 35 years old, a mom of two precious girls and I’ve been living in Dubai for 6 years now. I’ve started my career in the beauty world as a makeup artist for over 15 years and last year decided to shift into the health and wellness industry, as it’s always been a passion of mine to inspire people to live a healthier lifestyle. I’ve done my personal trainer and health coach trainings and have now been working in this field. As a second full time job, I also work as a content creator and ambassador for beauty, fitness and wellness brands.
How many years ago did you start blogging/content creating?
I started over 9 years ago with a few long stops along the way, when I fully dedicated myself to be a wife and a mom. I have been more consistent with it for the past 2 years.
Tell us one of your content creation secrets!
Keeping it real as much as possible and being honest with myself and my followers…not a secret at all.
What’s your favourite content creation app or tool?
Lightroom to edit and filters, Videoleap for quick videos and retouch to erase any clutter.
When did you know you “made it”?
Did I? Ahahah
Come on, share your worst blunder!
It happened to me a few times already … spending half an hour writing a very good and thoughtful caption and then just erase or delete the post by mistake!!!
Tell us one account that inspires you that we should follow?
Tbh I don’t have much time to spend scrolling on ig on a daily basis…but what I follow the most are pages that inspire me with quotes and motivational posts, as well as wellness and self healing, like @mindsettherapy, boosbabe.inc, mindbodygreen, awake spiritual, and motivational speakers like @Lewishowes, Brendon Bouchard, drjoedispenza …
What is your best piece of advice for anyone starting out?
To just be yourself, keep it as real as possible, and always think about what your followers will gain from seeing and reading your post. I always try to post something that has value in it, share knowledge, information or motivation – sharingvaluable content is very important at least for me. I need to feel that people will learn or gain something from seeing my posts. To impact people’s lives in a positive way. Time is precious…why should people waste their time seeing your posts?
We hope you enjoyed learning more about Daniela. Who’s up next?
